Each issuer has a redrawn CertSprout badge design, inspired by its colours, logo and certification style. Microsoft shields, Jamf geometric badges and Acronis crests integrate your credential details, our sprout and difficulty stars into the artwork. These are CertSprout interpretations; you can always open the original issuer record from your cert wall.
What the stars mean
Stars are a CertSprout estimate based on the level in our certification catalog, or an explicit certification level in a supported issuer’s title. They are not an official vendor rating, a pass rate, or a prediction of how hard you personally will find an exam. We do not infer difficulty from price or popularity.

Unmatched courses, ambassador awards and credentials without an established level stay unrated. An issuer-record import earns 100 XP while unrated; self-reported entries earn no credential XP. Previously awarded XP is retained. Linking the same credential again does not award XP again.
Achievements that scale with difficulty
Each distinct, active issuer-record certification adds its difficulty stars to your collection. A five-star certification contributes five times as much as a one-star certification. Renewals and duplicate imports of the same catalog certification count once. Expired, revoked, unrated and self-reported entries do not contribute. Earned milestones remain in your history.
